Distinguished Young Women OF South Fremont
is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholastics, leadership and talent in young women. Earn scholarships for higher education, personally develop through the DYW Life Skills Workshops, and make new friends from around the state.

Life-Changing Experience
College scholarships are awarded at the state level and millions in college-granted scholarships are available nationally. The state representative will advance to the national program for the opportunity to compete for cash tuition scholarships. To participate, you must be in your junior of high school. Participants are evaluated in the areas of: scholastics, interview, talent, self-expression, and fitness.

Achievements:
Member of National Honor Society Made it into All-State Choirs in 2022 and 2023. 3.5 or higher GPA Received 2nd place for vocal solo in districtwide competition. Placed 1st for a vocal quartet in district and statewide competition in 2022 and 2023. Won a schoolwide Patriot's Pen Essay Contest. Auditioned for and accepted into an exclusive choir. Auditioned for and accepted into an exclusive jazz band. Served as Young Women's President for my church.
Activites:
Singing in Freelancers Choir.Being a member of the National Honors Society.Playing piano and participating in piano festivals. Reading classic books. Babysitting children.Baking for my family. Working at SodaVine.Accompanying church groups and choir groups.
Additional:
Volunteering at blood drives as a part of the National Honors Society.Raking yards for community members and neighbors. Cleaning city parks and other city properties.Cleaning freeway roadsides yearly. Performing at church services and assisted living centers.
